Nov 01, 2022: With the start of Mt Ama Dablam (6,814 meters) climbing season, the base camp of the mountain is now full of climbers. According to the Nepal department of tourism 393 climbers from different countries have taken permission to climb Mt Ama Dablam.
On October 17, 2022, The rope fixing team under the management of EOA (Expedition Operator Association of Nepal) successfully set the summit lines to the top of Mt Amadablam after that many climbers from the different teams had already scaled Ama Dablam. Meanwhile, Some teams are still preparing to climb.
Now, various expedition companies have also arranged VIP tents at the base camp of Ama Dablam for the convenience of their climbers.
Casualty and Rescue
On October 17 night a sherpa climber who was a member of the rope fixing team died in the mountain while returning. According to the sources, an American climber was evacuated from Mt Ama Dablam camp 3 who was suffering from acute mountain sickness (AMS) and was in a very critical condition. He was evacuated to Kathmandu for further treatment.
