May 17, 2023: A renowned British climber, Kenton Cool, has conquered Mount Everest for the 17th time, surpassing his own record for the most summits of the world’s highest peak by any foreign climber. Kenton, hailing from Gloucestershire in South West England, also established a new British record for the most ascents of Mount Everest.

The achievement was confirmed by Iswari Poudel, who announced that Kenton, accompanied by Dorji Gyaljen Sherpa and Siddhi Tamang, successfully reached the summit point at approximately 6:05 am.
