March 15, 2023: In a move that has been eagerly awaited by many, the Chinese government has lifted travel restrictions that were imposed in many countries due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The decision was made due to the ease with which Chinese citizens can travel abroad and foreign citizens can enter China.

However, travelers from Nepal must present certain documents in order to enter China. Specifically, they must provide a negative nucleic acid or antigen-rapid test for COVID-19 taken within 48 hours before boarding. Himalaya Airlines, which operates regular flights from Nepal to China, has confirmed that all travelers must follow this requirement.

If the test results are negative, the traveler is allowed to enter China. However, if the test result is positive, the company advises against traveling. This is in line with the Chinese government’s strict approach to controlling the spread of COVID-19.

Travelers must also report their negative test results to Chinese customs using the “HTTPS://HDDISCEL.CHINA-PORT.GEOB.CN” mini-program or the Chinese customs app to obtain a health declaration form. After checking in at the airport, travelers must apply the health declaration code provided by the airline.

This lifting of travel restrictions is seen as a positive step towards returning to normalcy, as many countries have been impacted by the pandemic and the resulting travel restrictions. The move will be welcomed by many travelers who have been unable to visit China for some time.

It is worth noting that despite the lifting of some travel restrictions, the Chinese government is still taking a cautious approach to controlling the spread of COVID-19. Travelers are advised to check the latest guidance from the Chinese government and follow all necessary procedures and protocols when traveling to China. This includes following any quarantine requirements that may be in place.

Now many climbers from Nepal will attempt the mountains in china.
