Broad Peak
Pakistani climber Sharif Sadpara is missing on Broad Peak. One of the climbers at Broad Peak told Ghulam Mohammad that Shareef Sadpara, who is at his Broad Peak climb right now, has gone missing. The call was made by Dilawar Sadpara from 7,000 meters all the way from Broad Peak who begrudgingly told that his team member, Shareef Sadpara, slipped from a technical terrain at Broad Peak somewhere around 9:30 am yesterday and is still missing.
Gasherbrum II
Pakistani climber Iram Karim lost his life in an accident during his expedition to Gasherbrum-II. Iman was reportedly leading his clients to the acclimatization process for the expedition when he met with the accident. Reports point to a crevasse fall as the cause of death. It is not clear whether it happened on the mountain itself or rather on the Gasherbrum glacier in the past couple of years, he was assisting the Pak army to make routes to the high-altitude posts on Siyakangri in the winter season.
