October 19, Kathmandu: Domestic flights have been affected due to continuous rains. Airlines have said that flights to some destinations have to be canceled.

The airline has said that most of the flights including Biratnagar, Janakpur, Lukla, and Bhadrapur have to be canceled.

According to the airport office, flights to Tumlingtar, Dolpa, and other places have also been affected. The flight was affected due to rain and thick fog.

International flights were not affected, according to Tribhuvan International Airport.

The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) has said that the possibility of flight is low due to heavy fog and rain in Lukla since this morning.

Hundreds of tourists are waiting for the flight to Khumbu and back to Kathmandu as the tourist season has started in Khumbu as the risk of the corona has reduced.

However, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAAN) has said that flights will be canceled due to inclement weather.
