The second edition of the world record holder Mount Everest Fashion Runway, held at the highest altitude fashion show, has been completed at the Everest Base Camp.

Prince Cosimo de Medici of Italy, along with supermodels from 10 different countries, measured the ramp using Nepali design. By applying Casa design and Buddhist line design, the Italian Prince tried to promote Nepali design.

A spectacular view of the highest peak, Mount Everest, can be seen in the background of the snow-capped ramp at an altitude of 5,500 meters. Guinness Book of World Records Pankaj Gupta, Ramila Nemkul, and Riken Maharjan has organized the fashion show.

The Guinness Book of World Records lists Mount Everest Fashion Runway a few years ago as the world’s tallest fashion show.

On the runway, fashion designers Ramila Nemkul and Casa unveiled a line based on sustainable fashion. Soma Casa, promoted by the Nepal Tourism Board, also launched a Buddhist fashion line. It is said that the line is influenced by the supreme religion of non-violence, the philosophical source of Lord Gautam Buddha.

After a two-year study, Ramila unveiled the Buddhist fashion line in collaboration with Fabric and Sericature Organization, an umbrella organization of 21 countries. The crown was designed by Riken Maharjan of Arabic Diamond Jewelry. It is said that he designed the crown in such a way as to bring down the Himalayas using Nepali stone canite

The accessories used on the runway are said to be environmentally friendly and based on sustainable fashion. This is the first time such an event has been organized after the epidemic and the Sherpa community of the Everest base area has also welcomed it.

A group of 47 people was present to watch the fashion show organized near Gokyo Glacier
