May 07, Kathmandu: 11 Sherpa Climbers including Kami Rita sherpa Summited Mt Everest at 18:55 Nepal time which is the first summit of Mt Everest this season.

Kami Rita Sherpa broke his own record and became the first person to reach the top of Mt Everest for the 26th time.

Kami Rita Shera summited Mt Everest for the first time in 1994 on May 13. Between 1994 to 2022 he climbed Everest 26 times, K2 and Lhotse one time, Manaslu thrice, and Cho Oyu eight times.

11 Sherpa climbers were deployed for fixing routes under the management of Expedition Operators of Nepal. The route from base camp to Camp II was fixed by the team of icefall doctors deployed by the Sagarmatha Pollution Control Comitee.
