April 09, Kathmandu: Migma Gyalje and his rope fixing sherpa team and climbers scaled the world’s seventh highest peak Mt Dhaulagiri today at around 10:30 am Nepalese time, the first successful summit of the peak above 8000 meters this season.

The team began their push yesterday. The team led by Migma Gyalje includes Dawa Kamey Sherpa, Dawa Gyalje Sherpa,  Vinayak Jay Malla, Chhiring Sherpa,  Sonam Tashi Sherpa,  Jit Bahadur Sherpa,  Kili Pemba Sherpa, Thundu Sherpa, Aangdu Sherpa, Pemba Tenzing Sherpa, Sashko Kedev, Keval Hiren Kakka,  Tracee lee Metcalfe, Christopher Bernard Warner,  Haakon Aasvang,  Gina Marie Rzucidlo,  Anurag Reddy Nallavelli, Hong Dong Juan,  Naoki Ishikawa, and Jill Wheatley.
