October 14, 2022: The flight to Lukla airport in the Everest region, which was stopped due to bad weather, started on Thursday. With the improvement in the weather, Sita Air has started Kathmandu-Lukla and Summit Air and Tara Air have started the Ramechhap-Lukla flight.

Mountain guide Gelje Sherpa informed us that about 300 tourists were stranded in Manthali (Ramechhap) due to the suspension of flights for a week. He said that Summit Air and Tara Air had started flights to Lukla for tourists since Thursday morning. During the peak tourist season, there are more than 25 flights per day at Lukla Airport.

According to the statistics of the Immigration Department, the arrival rate of tourists is also increasing as this is the primary season for trekking in Nepal.
