October 24, Kathmandu: Nepal Airlines Corporation has started air service in the hilly districts of far west Nepal from today. As the roads in the hilly districts of the far west have been blocked due to rains, the air service has been started keeping in view the convenience of the passengers. Chief of Dhangadhi Airport, Ram Krishna Bhatta, said that a test flight has been launched from today to operate flights to the hilly districts of Bajhang and Doti based in Dhangadhi.

Residents of the hilly district have received relief after the start of air service. There is a demand from the locals for regular flights as airfare is cheap.
