October 20, Biratnagar: Due to continuous rains, the flood in Kesaliya River has inundated Biratnagar Airport. The airport was flooded on Wednesday morning. Floods have affected flights.
Airlines have also said that all today’s flights have been canceled. There is no possibility of any flight to Biratnagar.
The runway, parking area, and other places have been inundated due to the flood in the Kesaliya river.
One hundred domestic flights were canceled on Tuesday due to bad weather.
The flight has been affected due to flooding in the terminal building of the airport and also on the runway
All the wards within the Biratnagar Metropolitan City have been affected by the rain and the flood of rivers including Kesaliya for the past two days.
