February 12, Jomsom: The fourth national ski competition is to be held in Mustang. Nepal Ski Association is going to organize a ski competition in Waragung Muktichetra-1 Muktinath Ranipowa of Mustang.

Mustang had received heavy snowfall twice in the current season. Due to the snowfall, the Ranipowa side of Waragung mukti chetra-1 is completely covered with snow. Taking advantage of the heavy snowfall in Mustang, the Nepal Ski Association is preparing to organize a competition in Mustang for the third time with the objective of developing and promoting sports and making up for the off-season trade deficit.

Ski players have arrived in Mustang to prepare for the ski competition. They will be trained in Muktinath as pre-preparation training. After that, the competition will be organized, said Jitendra Shrestha, treasurer of the Nepal Ski Association. Earlier, the Nepal Ski Association had organized the first national ski competition in Rasuwa Kanjen Valley.

Earlier, the third national ski-in Mustang was completed. Ski players from Manang, Rasuwa, Dolakha, and Kathmandu have come to Mustang for the competition, said Niraj Shrestha. According to him, 30 players, 4 coaches, and 2 officials have come Mustangs for the ski competition. He said that the fourth national ski competition would be held on Monday or Tuesday after the management of the ski ground and training of the players.
