Ghorepani poon hill trek has a different route and different itinerary. The famous Itinerary is listed below.
- Day 1: Arrival
Today when you arrive at Tribhuvan International airport simply you can get a Nepalese sim card, currency exchanger, and taxi services at Tribhuvan international airport.
- Day 2: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara
Early in the morning, you can catch a tourist bus from Kathmandu tourist bus park located at Sorakhutte Kathmandu. It takes 6 to 7 hours to reach Pokhara tourist airport.
- Day3:Trek from Pokhara to Tikhedunga
Today you drive to Nayapul from Pokhara. The road is off-road and starts to trek upwards following the river crossing suspension bridge you reach Tikhedhunga.
- Day 4: Trek from Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani
Following the trail exploring Gurung and Magar villages with a view of Huge mountains passing through rhododendron and oak forest you reach Ghorepani
- Day 5: Trek from Ghorepani to poon Hill viewpoint to Tadapani
Today the day begins quite early. You have to climb towards Poonhill to see the amazing sunrise in the Himalayas. There are no Accommodation facilities at poon hill so you have stayed in Ghorepani after exploring the beauty of Poonhill you head back to Ghorepani and head towards Tadapani
- Day6: Trek from Tadapani to Ghandruk
After an amazing breakfast in Tadapani, you start your trek towards Ghandruk passing through Oak and Rhododendron forest with an amazing view of the Himalayas you reach Ghandruk the destination for the Day.
- Day 7:Trek From Ghandruk to Pokhara
Today is the last day of trekking. You follow the route towards Ghandruk exploring the villages of Brave Gurkha soldiers, passing through suspension bridges you reach Birethanti where you can find a Jeep to go to Pokhara.
- Day 8: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu
You can stay in Pokhara and explore Pokhara city or back to Kathmandu. You can get a tourist bus to Kathmandu from Pokhara tourist bus park.

Ghorepani Poonhill is an easy grade trek. The maximum altitude during the trek is at PoonHill 3210m. A normal fit person can complete the trek successfully it is better to adopt some physical exercise one week before the trekking date.
