April 30, Kathmandu: Two Alpinists Giampaolo Corona and Tim Bogdanov climbed Mt Annapurna in alpine style without using supplemental oxygen, and sherpa again went out of contact.

On Friday, he was spotted by an aerial search mission at around 7,400m.

According to sources, Swedish alpinist Tim Bogdanov was also gone out of contact as he made the last call from Camp IV.

After a few times of losing and re-establishing contact with base camp officials, Giampaolo Corona and Tim Bogdanov have been located and evacuated.

Swedish alpinist Bogdanov was suffering from frostbite and had been evacuated to the base camp from 7400 m. His condition is not critical. Sources added.

Similarly, Italian alpinist Giampaolo Corona is also located and evacuated from 7500m. He was also suffering from frostbite. Sources said.

A helicopter with search and rescue members had been sent to the region this morning.

Both alpinists are being taken to Kathmandu for further treatment.
