November 19, Kathmandu: Kathmandu-Bangkok flight, which has been closed for a long time due to the corona pandemic, will be resumed. During a meeting between Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Prem Bahadur Ale and Thai Ambassador to Nepal Bhosita Bhorasaf at the Ministry on Thursday, Ambassador Bhorasaf informed that regular Kathmandu-Bangkok flights would be launched in a few days.

During the meeting, Minister Ale thanked Ambassador Bhorasaf for the support by the Thai government in the Lumbini area and requested support for the maternity hospital in Lumbini.

Similarly, Minister Ale urged to facilitate Nepali citizens for Thai visas and to arrange concessional treatment for Nepali citizens going to Bangkok for treatment.

During the meeting, Minister Ale said that there are long-standing historical ties between Nepal and Thailand and said that maximum efforts should be made by both countries to further strengthen them.
