May 8, Kathmandu: Norwegian climber Kristin Harila summited Mt Dhaulagiri today at around 11:00 am Nepal time according to sources.

She is now descending from Mt Dhaulagiri. She will leave for Mt Kangchenjunga after Descending from Mt Dhaulagiri. She aims to climb Nepal’s six 8,000m peaks this spring season.

She aims to climb all 14 peaks above 8,000m in a shorter time.

Kristin Harila 36 scaled Mt Annapurna I on April 28 which was the beginning of her mission.

Kristin was accompanied by Dawa Ongju Sherpa, Mingma Thenduk Sherpa, and Pasdawa Sherpa to the top of Mt Dhaulagiri.

In May 2021, She set a world record by becoming the fastest woman to climb Mt Everest and Mt Lhotse in less than twelve hours.
