Shehroze Kashif a 20-year-old climber from Pakistan successfully climbed Mt Makalu this morning and becomes the youngest person to climb 5 peaks above 8,000m.
Last year he became the youngest person to summit Mount K2, and he scale Mount Everest the same year. At the age of 17, he climbed  Broad Peak which earned him the nickname ‘The Broad Boy’.
This year he climbed Mt Kanchenjunga, Mt Lhotse, and Mt Makalu.
Similarly, Ms. Baljeet Kaur became the 1st Indian climber to Summit 5 8000er mountains and 1st youngest woman to climb 5 mountains in a single season.
