October 09, 2022: Sherpa climber who was missing in an avalanche at the Larke Pass area of Mt Manaslu has been found dead. He has been identified as Phurba Sherpa. According to sources, Efforts are underway to recover his body from the area.
Similarly, two sherpa climbers who were missing in the Dhaulagiri region, are not found yet. The search mission for them is hampered due to bad weather conditions in the Dhaulagiri region.According to sources, Two Sherpa guides fell into crevasse in the French Pass area on Mt Dhaulagiri yesterday.
Four britsth trekkers were also rescued today from Dolpa region. At least eight French trekkers is also missing in Upper dolpa region.
