October 19, Kathmandu: On October 16 around 1:00 pm, five climbers successfully scaled Mt.Kanchenjunga 8,586m. (28,169 ft) in the autumn season. Mt Kanchenjunga is the world’s third tallest mountain.

On 15th October at around 6 pm climbers left from Camp 4 and reached the summit at around 1 pm the next day..‘The team that went ahead could not climb due to bad weather. We used the road and rope they made until Camp 4, ‘sherpa said.

Tseng Ko-Erh became the first female climber as well as the first Taiwanese national to successfully climb  Mt Kanchenjunga in the autumn season said the expedition leader.

According to Sherpa, the summit window was clear. Nima Gyalzen Sherpa, Gelje Sherpa, Dakipa Sherpa, and Pasang Rinjee Sherpa including Taiwanese successfully scaled Mt.Kanchenjunga

Gelje ascended Manaslu four times (2017, 2018, 2019 and 2021), Everest in 2018 and 2021 and Annapurna I, Makalu, Dhaulagiri, Nanga Parbat, Gasherbrum I, Gasherbrum II, Shisha Pangma in 2019, K2 in 2021 (Winter), Lhotse in 2021 and finally, Kangchenjunga in 2021.The next Candidate of the 8000ers club added sherpa.
