Italian team led by Francois Cazanelli successfully climbed Nanga Parbat without supplemental oxygen within 20 hours from Base Camp to the summit on 4th July. They recently opened a new route named “Aosta Valley Express”.
According to sources, they rested a few hours at Camp 3 and then continued to the summit without supplemental oxygen.

Marco Camandona reached the summit at 7.30 am Italian time the other members of the group Pietro Picco, Roger Bovard, and Emrik Favre reached the top, between 6 and 8 in the morning Italian time.
Only Cazzanelli and Rosales returned to base camp on the evening of July 4th, the other expedition members preferred to spend the night at C3 and return today morning.
Pakistani climber Shehroze Kashif also scaled Nanga Parbat today at the age of 20 years, becoming the Youngest Mountaineer in the World to summit Nanga Parbat.He has completed 8th 8000ers.He is accompanied by veteran mountaineer Fazal Ali.
