March 06, Kathmandu: Nepal Airlines Corporation has got permission to fly to Saudi Arabia. The Civil Aviation Authority of that country has given permission to Nepal Airlines to fly, said Archana Khadka, spokesperson of the corporation.

The corporation has received flight permission from its Riyadh-based office in the presence of the corporation’s executive chairman Yuvraj Adhikari, ” Khadka said in a statement. According to the flight permit, Nepal Airlines Corporation will be able to fly to Riyadh, Dammam, and Jeddah of Saudi Arabia.

The corporation has also stated that it will start three regular flights a week in the Kathmandu-Riyadh-Kathmandu sector from April 2022 as per the business plan. The corporation had been preparing to fly on this route for a long time but did not get permission.
