December 21, 2022: Nepal’s Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation have honored record-holder climber Sanu Sherpa. The government has honored Sanu Sherpa, who set a world record by repeatedly climbing 14 * 8,000-meter-high mountains.
The Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation called him on Wednesday and gave him a certificate. The ministry gave him a certificate of appreciation for helping to make Nepal known to the world through adventure.
Minister Jeevan Ram Shrestha handed over the certificate to Sherpa. At the same time, Minister Shrestha also gave him his monthly salary of,70 thousand rupees.
