January 31, Lamjung: Internal and external tourists who have not been vaccinated have been barred from entering the Himalayan district Manang.

At a meeting of the District Covid-19 Infection Management Committee, the District Disaster Management Committee has decided to arrange health check-ups and antigen tests at the entry point of Manang through the concerned local level.

According to Badri Raj Acharya, head of Manang Health Office, a 24-year-old man from Manang Ngisyang village was infected with corona on Sunday.

According to him, unvaccinated internal and external tourists will not be allowed to enter Manang. The staff of Manang and the locals will be vaccinated by the concerned local level. Since the start of the second wave of corona in Manang, 223 corona cases have been reported. Four of them have died.

Similarly, passengers without vaccination cards are not allowed to enter Manang. A high alert has been adopted in Manang saying that the infected people may come from outside the district.
