November,17 Solukhumbu: Sajid Sadpara the son of late Pakistani iconic climber Ali Sadpara. He was airlifted to Kathmandu after feeling sick in the Everest region. He is currently receiving treatment in a hospital in Kathmandu.
He was a part of the climber’s team including 69-year-old French mountaineer Marc Batard his son and Nepalese Sherpa Pasang Nuru Sherpa.
According to Marc Batard who climbed Mt Everest in In 1988 in 22.5 hours, they are exploring a new route from Everest base camp to Camp I and Camp II.
According to the source, Sajid was suffered from Cerebral Edema while exploring routes to Camp I. Local sherpa climbers tied him and carried him down towards the Everest base camp trail safely. Later he was safely airlifted to Kathmandu.

According to Marc Batard alternative route around Khumbu icefall exists he discovered it during a helicopter flight last spring. Their full expedition will occur in the 2022 spring season. Now they are scouting routes and fixing ropes.
Now the alternative of Everest normal route avoiding Khumbu icefall to Camp II is by helicopter.
