June 22: A renowned climber from Sangkhuwasabha, Nepal is attempting to climb Gasherbrum II in Pakistan to complete a double 14 peaks ascent. He is currently at Nanga Parbat base camp.

Sanu already climbed 13 peaks twice except Gasherbrum II (8,035).

According to Sources, there are 44 climbers in the 14 peaks club, so far no climber has done a double ascent of the 14 peaks.

Sanu was the third Nepali to summit 14 peaks.
