December 25, Solukhumbu: The upper part of Solukhumbu has received normal snowfall for the first time this year. Pike Danda and Ratnagi hills seen from Salleri in the upper part of the Khumbu area of the district have turned white after the snowfall.
Similarly, the district headquarters Salleri and surrounding areas have received rain. Although it started snowing from the second week of January last year, it has started snowing in the last week of December this year.
Meanwhile, extreme cold has been felt in the lower part of the district including the Khumbu region. Local’s said that the cold has increased with the snow and rain.
