March 19, Solukhumbu: A team of eight icefall doctors has reached the base camp to fix the route of Everest. Lama Kaji Sherpa, vice-chairman of the Sagarmatha Pollution Control Committee (SPCC) informed that the team reached the base camp.
A team of experts, who have been fixing a route for a long time, has reached the Everest base camp under the leadership of Dr. Angsarki Sherpa. According to the SPCC, the team will start fixing a route after worshiping at the Pangboche Gumba.
Vice President Sherpa informed that the team will work on the route and get information about the necessary preparations. Icefall Doctor fixes the route from the base camp of Everest to camp 2. The village municipality has stated that the same team will also do the work of pulling the rope and putting stairs in the route.
