The construction work of the tourist trekking route to Everest base camp in the Khumbu Pasanglhamu rural municipality ward number 3 of Phakding has been completed.
In 2069 BS Poush, the Phakding Village Development Committee took the initiative to construct the trekking route and the construction work was completed on Magh 26.
For the construction of the trekking route, the Khumbu Pasanglhamu rural municipality had budgeted 20 lakhs in the fiscal year 2069/70 B.S.
As the main pedestrian path is based on the Sagarmatha (Mount Everest) area, the trekking route construction work was carried out by the rural municipality to provide a safe and comfortable journey for tourists. The spokesperson of the rural municipality, Lakpa Chhiring Sherpa, provided the information.
