November 24, Kathmandu: A Buddha Air plane collided with an animal while landing on the runway of Nepalgunj Airport on Wednesday evening. According to Nepalgunj Airport sources, the small animal collided with the aircraft while landing.
Earlier last month, Wild boar children were hit by a Sita Air flight at the same airport.
According to the source, the baby fox was collied with the aircraft. There were no problems with the aircraft during the landing.
The aircraft carrying 70 passengers from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj landed at 7:05 pm. The flight has been regularized by washing the blood of the animal.
At present, most of the night flights are operated at Nepalgunj Airport.
