October 12, Kathmandu: On the seventh day(Fulpati in Nepali) of Bada Dashain, flowers sent from Gorkha Durbar are brought to the Dashain house at Hanuman Dhoka according to the classical method.
The flowers, which were taken out of Gorkha Durbar at 8:25 am on Tuesday, were brought to the Dashain house at 4:30 pm.
The flower is a symbol of the nine goddesses. It is said that after Prithvi Narayan Shah’s victory over Kathmandu in the state unification campaign, Kathmandu became the capital of the country, and then the practice of bringing the flower of Gorkha Durbar to Hanuman Dhoka Kathmandu started.
