CHO OYU

The wind has become a problem for climbers attempting Cho Oyu from the Nepal side. Yesterday Some climbers climbed to Camp 1 to see if the wind was affecting the deposits they had left at the height campsites and found a major problem. They’ve lost all the Camp 1 equipment including 7 feather suits, 6 sleeping bags, and 2 tents.

Previously the climbers completed their rotation there was good weather which allowed sherpas s to progress fast up to Camp 3. Now the wind has started.
