April 14, 2024: Thirteen climbers have achieved a remarkable feat by conquering the summit of Mt Ama Dablam, soaring majestically at 6,812 meters, over the past two days. On April 13, a group of six climbers, including Michael Robert from the United Kingdom, Dawa Ongju Sherpa, Dawa Nupu Sherpa, and Lakpa Sherpa from Nepal, along with Sandeep Kumar Sangaru and Shamin Asaikar from India, reached the pinnacle at 11:05 am local time, as confirmed by Lakpa Sherpa, Managing Director and Expedition Leader of 8K Expeditions.

The triumph continued on April 14, with more climbers scaling the peak. Shiao Yee Chong from Australia, Lee Mun Jo from Malaysia, accompanied by the Sherpa duo of Pemba Dorchi Sherpa and Pemba Tasi Sherpa from Nepal, reached the summit at 11:30 PM Nepali time. Later in the day, at 2:00 PM local time, three more climbers reached the summit, including Tanuja Goyal from India, and Lakpa Nurbu Sherpa, and Pastenji Sherpa, who has now conquered Ama Dablam for the second time, both hailing from Nepal.
