April 4, Kathmandu: In March 2022, more than 42,000 foreign tourists visited Nepal. According to the data provided by the Nepal Tourism Board, a total of 42,006 tourists entered Nepal by air in March.
Last year, in March 2021, 14 thousand 977 tourists had come to Nepal. Foreign tourist arrivals have been steadily increasing since the beginning of this year.
In January 2022, 16 thousand 975, and on February 19 thousand 766 foreign tourists entered Nepal. Due to the mountaineering season in Nepal, the number of foreign tourists has also increased. A significant number of foreigners come to Nepal for spring mountaineering.
