November 30, Kathmandu: Khumbu Glacier located in khumbu region Nepal between Mt everest and Lhotse Nuptse rige.It is one of the largest glacier of Nepal. It melts into the Lobujya (Lobuche) River of Nepal.Today it is melting very rapidly.Human activities results this phenomenon.Industrial revolution, carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gas emissions have raised temperatures as a result, glaciers are rapidly melting.
Now the glacier is melting at an alraming rate and needs an immediate attention.
