April 08, Solukhumbu: The team of icefall doctors finished setting up a route through the Khumbu icefall to Camp II of Everest. The Sagarmatha Pollution control committee team of icefall doctors, Ang Sarki Sherpa, Dawa Nuru Sherpa, Pemba Tshering Sherpa, Sonam Tshering Sherpa, Chewang Nuru Sherpa, and Ngima Gyaljen Sherpa began setting the route on 20th March 2022.

From camp II to the summit of Everest, the Lhotse, and Nuptse route is set by an association of expedition organizing company. The structure changes every year until the second camp, which has a lot of glaciers and snow pits.

Sagarmatha Pollution control committee has recommended some safety precautions

1) have only one climber on any ladder at any given time

2) lighten and limit loads carried by individual high altitude mountain workers so as not to overload the ladders

3) strictly adhere to safety measures such as clipping harnesses to safety ropes while on ladders
