December 05, 2022: Tara Air Company has started collecting the material of the crashed plane in Mustang. From Monday, the company has started collecting the materials of the crashed plane scattered at the foot of Mana Pathi mountain in Thasang Rural Municipality-2 of Mustang.
Tara Air’s 9 NAET Twinator aircraft flying from Pokhara to Jomsom crashed in the Sanusare hills of Mustang. At that time, 19 people on the plane lost their lives.7 months after the plane crash of Tara Air, the wreckage of the aircraft has been started.
For this, Tara Air took permission from the local administration, police, and ACAP(Annapurna conservation Area) Jomsom to collect the wreckage.
Air has entrusted the task of collecting the contents of the crashed plane to the social worker and road supervisor Indra Singh Sherchan. Under the leadership of Sherchan, the work of collecting the wreckage of the plane has now started in Sanusare Hill of Mana Pathi Mountain.
“Tara Air has entrusted me to find and collect the material of the plane,” Sherchan said, “We have started collecting the material with 7-8 people including me.”
He informed us that it will take a week to collect the material from Sanusare Hill and bring it to the road.
