July,23 2023: Kristin Harila and Sherpa Guide Tenjen (Lama) Sherpa Successfully Summit Broad Peak Himalaya in Pakistan.
Kristin Harila and Sherpa Guide Mingtemba Sherpa achieved a successful summit of Broad Peak, the world’s 12th highest mountain (8,051 meters), in Pakistan. The news of their accomplishment was reported on Sunday morning at 4:30 AM.
Along with conquering Broad Peak, Kristin Harila has now climbed 13 out of the world’s 14 peaks that exceed 8,000 meters in height, aiming to achieve this feat within a short span of four months. She has set her sights on conquering the remaining mountain in her ambitious plan. Tenjen, alongside Christine, is also on the same journey.
Kristin Harila and Sherpa have previously conquered notable peaks like Mount Everest, Kanchenjunga, Lhotse, Kala Patthar, Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Manaslu, Cho Oyu, Shishapangma, Nanga Parbat, Gasherbrum II, Gasherbrum I, and now Broad Peak. They now have their sights set on summiting K2 in Pakistan.
