March 15, Solukhumbu: With the start of the tourist season, the number of foreign tourists entering Khumbu of Solukhumbu has started increasing day by day.
According to the Khumbu Pasang Lhamu Municipality, more than 100 domestic and foreign tourists are visiting the Khumbu area daily.
At present, Tenzing Hillary Airport in Lukla is busy, said Dwarika Achhami, head of Civil Aviation Authority Lukla. According to him, up to 20 helicopters and up to 35 planes are flying in Lukla daily. According to him, more than 100 tourists enter Khumbu daily. Although the number of tourists entering Khumbu is increasing day by day, the number of returning passengers is low. Due to which the planes carrying passengers are returning empty, said Civil Aviation Authority Lukla.
