Itinerary for Annapurna Base Camp Trek:

Day 1: Arrival 

After arriving at Tribhuvan International airport you can get a Nepalese SIM card and Exchange Currency at Tribhuvan International Airport.

Day 2: Kathmandu Sightseeing (Altitude:1,350m)

Kathmandu is a Historical place where you can Explore the city and prepare for a trek. This Day is Optional

Day 3: Drive to Pokhara (Altitude:850 m) Duration 6 to 7 hrs.

Early in the morning, you can catch a Tourist Bus from Tourist Buspark (Nayabazar, Kathmandu). It takes 6 to 7 Hours To reach Pokhara. It’s a 200.07 Km drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara via Prithivi Highway. You can enjoy the natural beauty of the Highway during the drive.

Day 4:Drive from Pokhara to Nayapul and trek to Ghandruk (1,940m) Duration 5 to 6 hrs

It’s a 2 to 3 hours drive from Pokhara to Nayapul. After reaching Nayapul the trek Begins and starts a trek towards Ghandruk village.

Day 5: Trek from ghandruk to chomrong (2,210m).Duration 5 to 6 hrs.

Following The descending trail from Ghandruk Exploring Terrace farm, Villages of Gurkha Soldiers you reach Chomrong, the destination for this Day.

Day 6: Chomrong to Himalaya. (Altitude: 2840m) Duration 5 to 6 Hrs

Following the route from Chomrong passing through the decreasing bamboo and Rhododendron Forest, you reach Himalaya

Day 7: Trek from Himalaya to Annapurna Base Camp (4130m) Duration 5 to 6 hrs)

After a good night in the Himalayas early in the morning, you head towards Annapurna Base Camp. After reaching Annapurna Base Camp staying in Tea Houses at Abc With an Amazing Views is the best part of the trek

Day 8: Trek from Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo (2400m) Duration 5 to 6 hrs

After an Amazing Stay at Annapurna Base Camp exploring the Massif Annapurna range, we head towards Bamboo the destination for the Day.

Day 9: Trek from Bamboo to Jhinu Danda (1760m)Duration 5 to 6 hrs.

Flowing the trail downward passing through Bamboo, Rhododendron, and Oak forest you reach Jhinu Danda. Due to its geographical structure, Jhinu Danda offers a natural hot spring where you can relax. This is also one of the best parts of the trek.

Day 10: Trek from Jhinu Danda to Nayapul and drive back to Pokhara (850m)Duration 6 to 7 hrs.

Today is the last day of the Annapurna base camp trek. Following the trail right of Modi River, you reach Nayapul. You can find Vehicles from Nayapul and back to Pokhara.

Day 11: Drive back to Kathmandu from Pokhara.

You can enjoy some days in Pokhara or you can drive back to Kathmandu from the Tourist bus park Pokhara

Best Season for Annapurna Base Camp Trek

October to November and March to May are the best trekking seasons in Nepal During this time summer monsoon seasons are neither hot nor too cold which offers the best conditions for trekking.
