November 02, Kathmandu: An aircraft has collided with a wild boar on the runway of Nepalgunj Airport. The aircraft collided with a Wild boar on the runway while flying to Simikot in Humla this morning. Sita Air’s plane collided with Wild boar on the runway of the airport at around 6:20 this morning.

The aircraft was preparing to fly from Nepalgunj to Simkot Airport in Humla. According to airport sources, the aircraft collided with wild boar while it was running on the runway. There is a hole in the front of the aircraft.

Passengers and crew members are safe. There were 14 passengers on board. The airport has been closed for about half an hour and is now running.

According to Banke Deputy Superintendent of Police Madhusudan Neupane, the ship was hit by a Wild board. He said that the Wild board came from a grass field around the runway. He said that wild animals have been causing grief at the airport before.
