Missing sherpa climber on Mera peak is still Unknown
Solukhumbu: Cheten Sherpa, a missing climber in the Mera Peak area of Solukhumbu, is still unknown. The condition of Sherpa, who went missing from a 5,008-meter-high on October 19 while returning from Mera peak, is still unknown.
A trained team with equipment is searching for him. Helicopters and trained rescue teams were deployed to search for Sherpa, but the company said it could not find him.
On the way back from Mera Peak, 10 people were trapped in the snow on October 19.
Though nine of them have been rescued, the condition of the 29-year-old Sherpa of Soludukund-3 is unknown, police said.
