November 22, Kathmandu: Flights will be suspended at Surkhet Airport from November 26. All flights at the airport will be closed for 25 days for runway maintenance.
According to the Civil Aviation Authority, Surkhet, a team of engineers will arrive in Surkhet on Tuesday to repair the runway.NEA has stated that the current maintenance is under regular maintenance.
Flights from Surkhet to Karnali district will also be affected.
Similarly, direct flights from Kathmandu to Surkhet will also be affected.
Helicopters will be able to land regularly at Surkhet Airport even if the aircraft does not take off or land.
